Kingsley Bate

This Virginia-based creator of teak masterpieces uses only premium quality wood and precise mortise and tenon joinery in the construction of its outdoor furniture, which includes chairs, benches, and tables in also in metal and woven materials crowned with all-weather upholstery. All teak comes from Southeast Asia and Kingsley Bate has declined to use South American teak due to widespread deforestation of the Amazon basin. Its teak is harvested from carefully controlled plantations, established in Indonesia by the Dutch in the mid-19th century for superior livability and durability.
